This programme offered in collaboration with the University of Huddersfield, is a comprehensive programme combining creative apparel design, garment pattern making and prototyping skills with market projections and trend analysis. Students are encouraged to harness their creativity and innovation with a commercial sensibility. An interactive approach to apparel design is encouraged and research is emphasised in the course, stimulating students to produce targeted fashion collections in either men’s wear or women’s wear.

Students to be admitted to the programme must have a NAFA diploma or its equivalent with a minimum 5 GCE ‘O’ level passes with credit in English and completion or a relevant diploma or its equivalent with relevant professional experience and completion or mature students with industrial experience and/or with completion and a minimum pass of 65 per cent for both research methodologies and final year project conducted by NAFA or satisfactory completion of an interview and/or audition.

Students should send their completed application form along with the certified true copies of their NRIC/Passport, educational certificates, transcripts and other relevant documents, cheque of S$53.50 made payable to the “Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts”.
